The Clinica del Mediterraneo, a multi-specialist Treatment Centre accredited with the SSN, is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that has decided to invest its resources in the continuous search for structural and technological improvement with a vision of the future based on excellence.

The Treatment Centre was founded in Ragusa in 1999 and in over 20 years, true to the company's 'mission', it has consolidated its role as a point of reference for the citizens of the Ragusa area (and beyond) by offering highly specialised medical assistance in various branches and diagnostic strategies that are always innovative and targeted to the patient's health needs.

The greatest added value offered by our Treatment Centre is certainly the team of professionals working there and the strong collaboration that is established between the various departments and services. For this reason, the entire organisation can be seen as a large team working with passion and commitment to offer the best care, within a comfortable structure, with staff always on hand, supported by high-level diagnostic, instrumental and IT equipment.

The facility consists of a Medical Grouping and a Surgical Grouping, divided into Operating Units for a total of 100 beds accredited with the National Health Service, plus 2 places on a freelance basis, with specialist and outpatient services for inpatients and outpatients.

The Treatment Centre is a limited liability company administered by a sole director Dr. Ippolito Caccamo. The Medical Director is Dr. Salvatore Pacini.
